Wow! What a bizarre film! Unfortunately the few funny moments there were were quite overshadowed by it's completely weird and random vibe throughout.

This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.

In some ways, this is just ANIMAL HOUSE for a new generation, but it's very funny and effective despite the typical crass humor that would accompany such a movie. The three male leads are hilarious in their respectively different ways, while the female lead is engaging and refreshing. All the characters here are caricatures, but this movie doesn't pretend to be high art. It is what is it: a silly college-age sex comedy. Every cliché in the book is used in the script, but each of them works (for the most part), simply because the acting is pretty good for such a movie. There are great one liners aplenty to enjoy and repeat, and because there isn't a lot of nudity in the film (surprise), the characters actually matter because they don't take themselves too seriously. This whole movie works because it doesn't take itself too seriously. Enjoy it for what is, and you won't be disappointed. It's pretty much a classic along the lines of "PRIVATE SCHOOL", for example, from the early 1980s.

OK, so the plot isn't all THAT original, guys in distress resort to dressing as chicks to investigate a crime they are falsely accused of, but the result is a laugh a minute. The subject matter can actually be thought of seriously in a way, if you think about what is going on on college campuses today. The thing that makes this film is the acting, and the unaffected way the guys get into it. They don't try to be girls, they just kind of dress up like them, and then hang out. The occasional "does this make me look fat?" comes off as really funny because of this. Every guy (almost) can relate to the detached way they discuss "issues" like self esteem, etc., with a sort of , "like, what the F are they talking about?" way about them.I have read some really nasty pieces about this film, from some really angry types (oh yea, you know who). They really need to take a giant chill pill, they would really get a laugh out of films like this , if they would just learn to lean back and enjoy them. I would also ad, just what our sorority boys would- "What the F are ya talking about?"

I have seen this movie 3 times and it never gets old.I always catch this movie on the TV and I laugh and laugh at all the jokes. It is a really good gross out comedy (one of the best gross out college comedies actually) and this movie is worth renting out if you haven't seen already.I don't think I have seen any of the actors in any other movies before seeing Sorority Boys.I thought the ending was really weird.Don't believe the negative reviews until you have seen this movie then you will have a different opinion. It had a good plot also and I really liked the soundtrack for this movie.10/10 is my rating.

The way that he says that, has to be one of THE funniest spoken lines in film history, it's just the way his mouth opens so wide to say it and.... OK.Sorry. Barry Watson, feeling the role of the woman a little too much there I think. Got into it very well! He seemed quite good as a woman, really is a pretty boy.Good laughs in this film, it's cute, rude, funny, and just idiotic and I loved every minute of it - do it again!, do it again! I will not say anything about the plot of the film, I just wanted to acknowledge those couple of bits of acting technique - haha! "I love it when you braid my hair."
