This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.

The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.

This is the DVD from Shakira's highly acclaimed and very successful tour of the mongoose, and it showcases performances from many of the venues her tour stopped over at, predominantly scenes from Rotterdam and London. I attended the Madison Square Garden, NYC stop of this concert and much rather enjoyed when Shaki performed songs like 'Un Poco Amor' and 'Dude looks like a lady' which are mysteriously absent from the DVD. Nevermind though, they have added tons of extras like, discography, documentary, and behind the scene footage in which you get to see the superstar practicing for shows, showing off personal stunts such as being able to fold both of her legs behind her neck and not feel the slightest bit of discomfort. During this tour, due to lack of rest and the sometimes rigorous dance moves that Shaki shows off, she was stricken by an illness called 'tenditis' (or something like that) and you get to see all of that on the DVD as well. There is also a bonus CD, which contains some of the highlighted songs from the concerts. You may have already heard that the best way to appreciate Shakira is to see her perform LIVE. Now you have no more excuses.
