Things are upside-down in LazyTown. Stephanie, an optimistic girl with bright pink hair, comes to live in LazyTown and meets a zany mix of townspeople, including the world’s laziest super-villain, Robbie Rotten. Fortunately for Stephanie, LazyTown is also under the watchful eye of Sportacus, an athletic, super-active, slightly-above-average hero, who runs, jumps, flips and flies to the rescue in his futuristic AirShip. Sportacus always manages to save the day and to help the kids of LazyTown foil Robbie’s latest lazy schemes. The citizens of Lazytown learn the importance of things like eating right and exercising from the ultra-athletic superhero, Sportucus, who must stop the evil plots of Robbie Rotten, who hates physical activity, among other things.

Although I seem to have had higher expectations than I thought, the movie is super entertaining.

Very good movie overall, highly recommended. Most of the negative reviews don't have any merit and are all pollitically based. Give this movie a chance at least, and it might give you a different perspective.

This show it's funny, creative and great for kids. The music is great, the songs are so catchy I can't stop listen to them. I started watching that show just because of the song "We are number one" but now I really love that show. I wish they will make another season.Awesome show! 10/10

I think it is a great show for the whole family: It is fun, clever and original, also all the characters are interesting, charming and have unique personalities. The music and the visuals of this shows are pretty good, it is easy why so many people like this show: It has all the virtues that define good entertainment for the whole family. It is a clean show without any of the annoying (And inappropriate) contents that sadly are so common in TV this days.I wish there were more shows like this. I highly recommend this show to everyone. It is very good.

Yes! Yes, I know a ten?!? Read on people: If you have no kids under the age of 12, there is no point in reading this. If you have kids under 16 months of age, why are YOU sitting them in front of the TV in the first place? This is for parents whose kids are at kindergarten or the first elementary school years. If you are them, enjoy! You can chose to believe or not, but we at home do not allow more than 120 accumulated TV minutes for the kids. We keep'em busy, and we make them play for an hour before they can sit 30 mins. in front of the tube. But Lazy Town is NOT within those 60 minutes.Lazy Town has a ten from both my wife and me because it makes something WE didn't think possible: both our kids are ACTUALLY jumping and running and doing push-ups DURING the show. Our girl who is 5, wants to dance and jump like "Stephanie" (and she MUST be a gymnast her self!) and our not-even-2-year-old... man oh man!! He wants Sportacus to watch HIM! When ever "Sportacus" comes into the screen, my kids yells "DOOR!" Jumps off the couch and stars doing mock-cart wheels and one-arm push-ups, he places both hands on the floor and raises one of his tinny little feet as high as he can because he's standing on his hands. Then he lands on the floor again and leaps as high as his imagination can launch him back on the couch again -that is for the commercial break. So you see, if your kids are going to copy EVERYTHING they are going to see on TV, would you not rather have them copying push-ups and high-kicks and jumps and asking you for "sports candy" (that's an apple). Many more seasons please!

This show is the best kids show I have seen on TV in a very long time! Blue's Clues is educational and my kids loved it but Lazy Town is fun, energetic AND educational. :D I love the focus on health and fitness. :) I have two kids, a 6 year old boy and a 3 year old girl. Both ADORE this show! We dance around and talk about what happened on the show that day. lol My son comes home and asks his sister what happened and looks forward to pd days so he can watch it himself. rofl The kids even ask for "sports candy" (aka apples) as snacks! I have a basket of them on the table for them to snack on and they love it! For myself, I love it too! The music is contagious and makes me want to get up and move. If I could find them I would buy every episode on DVD!! hehehe Sportacus is good eye candy for Moms too... rofl ;D I went to the website and found out that Sportacus is the man who produces and created the whole Lazy Town world. :D Two big thumbs up and a hardy THANK YOU to Magnus Scheving for creating a show that gets our kids (and us!) up and moving! The characters, plots, music, backgrounds... they are all captivating and educational! The things needed to help cement the lessons we're trying to teach our kids. :) Everyone should give this show a shot... :D p.s. I think that some people think things too hard. Sportacus isn't a strange man to Stephanie. He's a hero... So what if he's not related? We have friends that are close enough to be family and I would let them take my kids camping if that's what they wanted to do. :P There's enough bad stuff in the world today... why create more when it's not there?
