Disappointment for a huge fan!
Your blood may run cold, but you now find yourself pinioned to the story.
Unshakable, witty and deeply felt, the film will be paying emotional dividends for a long, long time.
The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.
I saw this short at the Dances with Films festival in Santa Monica on July 31st. This is a dark and very funny piece about Hitler's escape from Germany in the last days of WWII. Hitler is secretly brought to London where he is forced to dress as an old woman to leave his flat in search for food as he awaits further transport to Argentina. He meets his neighbor, an elderly jewish man, who is smitten with adolph as an old woman and has to thwart his sexual advances. Very funny. This short will be made into a feature eventually.
